Weekend roundup

Winter is definitely approaching Jhb fast and furiously, we went to watch Mousey's boyfriend Sean play rugby on Friday night and had to dress up like the proverbial eskimo! After a some sherries and a few ales, we decided to hit Manhattan's in Rivonia which turned out to be such a hack! We got there just before 2am and there was queue about 10m long. *Sigh* Gone are the days where I used to be a regular and could smile at the doorman and move swiftly to the front of the queue ... now I have been relegated to pleb status and have to stand in the minus 2 degree winter weather with everybody else! Clearly this didn’t fizz our bubbles AT all so we went to the News Cafe for a nightcap instead!

Sat was spent watching crickey, hockey and taking things very easy. Caught some of the Super 14 games at Bron and Mousey's house and then went and had dinner with Tanith & Vonnie, varsity/hockey friends.
Nugget also went to the vet and had her 10 week injections, I was very proud of the little girl, she didn’t even peep. We also bought her a new collar and matching lead, she clearly now thinks that she is the trendiest pooch in the Gauteng province.

The majority of Sunday was spent at the astro (for a change) - Cracka won his game 4-0, we went down 0-2. Spent the rest of the afternoon slothing on our couch watching the last few overs of the Test match ... thankfully the lads kept it together and we won the series against the Kiwis 2-0.

Other than that, not much to report back on ... watch this space!
